The word Orgón was used by Wilhelm Reich, Freud's dissident disciple and father of the body-mind therapy, to call the vital energy in the human body. Reich argued that blocking the flow of the Orgon is the cause of all diseases and that its liberation and expansion brings self-awareness and connection with the whole.
Other cultures have called this energy Ki, Chi, Kundalini or Prana.
